Hey guys,<\/p>\n

this years medieval christmas market just opened it’s doors to the public located inside the stable yard! It’ll be open until the 23rd December from 11am till 9.30pm.<\/p>\n

The stable yard used to be part of the residential castle of Dresden. It used to be the location for many horseshows. It’s one of the oldest show places in Germany you can visit.<\/p>\n

This christmas market is kept close to the medieval theme. You’ll find no plastic, nearly no electrical light and no nonstop-christmas-carols :)<\/p>\n

All merchants are dressed accordingly and are working with typical tools and materials. So you’ll see real craftsmen.<\/p>\n

Talk to the blacksmith, tanner or cabinetmaker about their work.<\/p>\n

There is a little stage where you can listen to some typical music or watch short theater plays.<\/p>\n

Especially on weekend there are well known medieval bands playing<\/a>\u00a0or you can watch some nice fire shows. Just check the homepage for the program<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During the week there is free entry. Only during the weekend you’ll have to pay 3\u20ac. But it’s worth it :)<\/p>\n
