Liked: Staff was so friendly

Leider waren wir enttäuscht von der Unterkunft. Preis Leistung hat für uns nicht gepasst. Betten mussten selber bezogen werden und das Bettzeug war komplett kaputt. Auch die Wechselbettwäsche. Auch unser Zimmer und das Gemeinschaftsbad hatten die besten Zeiten hinter sich. Diverse Mängel wie Löcher in den Vorhängen, fehlende Ösen, bauliche Mängel im Badbereich etc. rechtfertigen für uns nicht den hohen Zimmerpreis. Unser Doppelzimmer war zudem winzig. Sehr schade. Das Personal war sehr nett...

Absolutely enjoyed staying in this hostel to the fullest extent! As crazy as it sounds, it was literally one of the highlights of my whole trip to Dresden! 10/10

Liked: Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mir war den einen Morgen nämlich übel gewesen. Disliked: Der Spind für meine Sachen war zu schmal einfach recht klein und wenn alle Betten besetzt sind ist es wirklich beengt im Raum. Na ja - ist ja auch nur zum Schlafen gedacht.

Absolut großartig. Das Hostel ist sehr bequem, sauber und gut durchdacht. Ab der ersten Minute habe ich mich wohlgefühlt und in der zweiten Minute war ich Teil einer Gemeinschaft. Einfach wundervoll.

Wir waren für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise nach Prag in der Unterkunft und unsere Kids waren super begeistert von dem dreifachen Doppelstockbett. Alles war sauber, die Betten bequem. Die Umgebung bietet genügend Möglichkeiten, Restaurants etc. Wir kommen gerne wieder und dieses Mal auch mehr Zeit. Dresden ist wunderschön. LG, Leene

Liked: Eine echt entspannte Atmosphäre im Gemeinschaftsraum. Man ist auch direkt im Geschehen der Neustadt. Die Betten haben Vorhänge und die Toiletten sind außerhalb und nicht auf dem Zimmer.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt – absolute Empfehlung! Ich wurde von Anfang an unglaublich herzlich und freundlich empfangen. Mir wurde alles in Ruhe erklärt, sodass ich mich direkt willkommen und wohlgefühlt habe. Die Zimmer waren stets sauber und ordentlich, und auch die Gemeinschaftsbereiche waren immer schön aufgeräumt. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr angenehm und hat den guten Gesamteindruck perfekt abgerundet. Besonders toll fand ich die vielen Aktivitäten, durch die man schnell mit anderen Menschen in Kontakt kommt und gemeinsam eine schöne Zeit verbringen kann. Ob Billard, Tischtennis, Tabu, Wandern oder Karaoke – es war immer etwas dabei, und wir hatten jede Menge Spaß! Gerade Karaoke war richtig cool und wird mir definitiv in Erinnerung bleiben. ???????? Ein ganz besonderes Lob geht an das gesamte Team! Alle sind unglaublich nett, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Man merkt wirklich, dass sich die Mitarbeitenden Mühe geben, den Gästen den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu gestalten. Egal, wobei man Hilfe braucht, es wird immer versucht, eine Lösung zu finden. Ein riesengroßes Dankeschön an Franca für alles und ganz liebe Grüße an Lilette, die einfach total Zucker ist! ❤️ Ich habe mich hier wirklich wohlgefühlt und hatte eine tolle Zeit. Vielen Dank für die schöne Atmosphäre, die netten Begegnungen und die vielen lustigen Momente. Ich kann diese Jugendherberge absolut weiterempfehlen und würde jederzeit gerne wiederkommen!

Very good hostel with extremely friendly staff! The hostel vibe is excellent and the location is very close to the major tourist spots in the old town. I would definitely recommend for solo travellers or groups of 2/3

It was the best hotel I've done, when you arrive it shows you everything for how to get back - the kitchen - the place. The staff is superb there are activities all the time, the moment I was present we had dinner together for free + after we played a game together. The toilets and shower including Okk, the rooms are good with curtains for each bed, just it's a little cold in the rooms

Clean room. Guests and stuff are relaxed. Easy to meet new people. Atmosphere excellent. In the center of Dresden alternative culture. Little complaint: for free parking I had to walk 10 minutes

Very good experience. All clean and tidy. Beds are comfortable. The location also is good. The staff is very welcoming and kind. Last but not least free coffe in the morning!

Liked: The location is great, really central in the Neustadt. The Staff are lovely, really helpful. The bathrooms were very clean and the Teeküche, where we could make tea or coffee was well stocked. Disliked: Although the Bathrooms were good, it was a bit strange that the male guests felt really comfortable using the flinta/women’s bathrooms… it would have made things faster and easier in the morning for the female guests if they had stuck to their own space. But there were no bad vibes or experiences because of this. Maybe it’s just good to be aware that not all women feel super comfortable in that situation with men showering in the same space, which is probably why there’s a separate one in the first place.

That is absolutely not allowed, and is very clearly stated at check-in, that there are gendered bathrooms in this area, and is also indicated with signs on the bathroom door. We can absolutely understand that this can be an uncomfortable situation and we do not stand for it. If you notice this, then please report it directly to reception. This is the only way in which we can directly confront the issue. We will continue to do our best to make this clear at check-in, and make sure that people follow our rules. Liked: Very friendly - the staff put a lot of effort into putting on free events. They also have great taste in music :-) The free dinner especially was great for socialising. Attracts a great crowd: everyone up for conversation but also respectful if you just want to sit in your own company. Room (women's dorm) was spacious and clean. Location great - easy to access several tram lines and the S bahn for visiting Meissen and Saxon Switzerland. Felt very safe as a solo female traveller. Neighbourhood not as noisy as expected - shut windows at night and most of sound blocked out. Disliked: Kitchen very small. Only really space for 2-3 people max to cook at the same time. Seemed to be only 2 showers on our floor, with one of them basically a bath turned into a shower with metal panelling (didn't use this one as couldn't hang clothes anywhere). I showered in the afternoon to avoid peak times

This is wonderful and helps us a lot. That is certainly something we can look into during the low season/ renovation time. We certainly understand that the limited bathrooms are not ideal, this is why we have signs on the bathroom door stating that guests can also go to the lower floors and use the bathrooms there to reduce waiting times. Unfortunately, this is out of our control to change, as we only rent the space and are in a very old building, which requires many permissions to change such things, which we don't have. However, we find that offering this flexibiltiy tends to solve the issue most of the time :) All the best, Emma and the Lollis Team

Wir waren mit der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, es gab einen großen Esstisch und auch das Bad war ordentlich und sauber. In allem einfach eine gute Wohnung, die für einen Städtetrip gut geeignet ist, auch wegen der guten Lage:)

Liked: Staff makes you feel welcomed and are available for any necessity you may have. The place is funky and offers many activities both in the surroundings and in the wider area surrounding Dresden. Disliked: The room are good though not super soundproof, and you can sometimes hear people talking outside during late hours, but that is also somehow part of the liveliness of the area, just take that into account

Liked: The 5 persons apartment was absolutely lovely. Very spacious, clean and the amenities were excellent. We continued to hang out with the people we met at the free dinner and it was really awesome. The staff and guests are great, no weirdness at all! Disliked: Nothing
