Reception check-in was great! Very helpful and informative, hostel is overpriced and you have to make your bed upon check-in, curtain in my bed was broken. They organize activities which is great for solo travelers but not much of a vibe other than that. There were 2 Antifa-ACAB stickers in the men's WC, I personally removed them, as hatred towards Civil Servants or Institutions shouldn't be accepted in a place where their should be tolerance and acceptance regardless of someone's profession!

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your positive review. I am glad that your check-in with my colleague went smoothly. Honestly, I can't say that we're overpriced. You were in Dresden on a weekend when two events were taking place: a concert on the Elbe and a sporting event. You probably attended them, too. Prices were generally higher that weekend. Even so, we still had the cheapest beds in town. I would also like to address your comment about the Antifa stickers. We didn't put them up; guests probably did. However, we left them up because we cannot overestimate the importance of anti-fascism, especially in the current climate with right- and far-wing governments coming to power around the world and threatening the freedom of every individual. 1. No elevator — you have to carry your luggage up to the 3rd floor. 2. The bed height is unreasonable — if you sit up in bed in the morning, you can easily bump your head. 3. No power outlets near the bed — you have to go to the windowsill area to charge your devices. 4. No toilet or bathroom in the room — every time you go out to use the restroom or wash up, you have to take the key with you. 5. Far from the main train station — about a 1-hour walk to Dresden Central Station

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write your review and experience for us! We understand some things may have been frustrating for you, or not your norm! However, we would like to point out it does say online that we have rooms on the upper floors and have no elevator which guests should take into consideration when booking. Unfortunately, the team cannot also handle to carry every luggage up to the rooms or we will also not be in a good condition after only a few weeks and hurt our own bodies. Secondly, there is a socket at every bed. There is the wooden shelf with a light and a socket directly on top of it. I am sorry if you did not see it, but please just ask us. We could have helped you solve this very quickly. We understand that maybe the style was not for you, but we do have standard sized bunk beds, and we cannot really change this. Yes, the bathrooms are shared and can be found in the corridor outside the rooms, and you should always take the key with you for security reasons. We are sorry if that was not your style, but we do not advertise having rooms with bathrooms for this reason. We are absolutely a long walk from the Central Station. The New Town station is much closer and we would recommend the guests depart the train here and take the 15 minute walk to us. Or, if you absolutely need to go to the Old Town station, we would recommend taking the tram! It is cheap and only takes about 15 minutes this way. 1 douche/toilet op de etage was echt te weinig. Steeds wachten of alle trappen weer af en op vooaleen andere douche was onhandig. 3e etage ook een hele klim. Een vrouwenkamer geboekt, blijkbaar was dat niet goed doorgekomen. Wel een leuke kamer met aparte bedden. De algemene ruimte was erg klein en chaotisch maar ook wel weer gezellig. Personeel waanzinnig vriendelijk, leuk, aardig, behulpzaam!!!! Lekker gratis avondeten op dinsdag.

We zijn blij dat je zulke lovende woorden hebt voor ons team, de gezelligheid van de kamer en onze gemeenschappelijke ruimtes. Ik heb je reservering zojuist nog eens gecontroleerd op Hostelworld. Je had 2 bedden gereserveerd in een gemengde kamer met 6 bedden. Kijk nog eens naar je reserveringsbevestiging. Het spijt ons dat we je niet verder konden helpen. Als de Fenale Only Dorms niet bezet waren geweest, hadden we je een gratis upgrade gegeven, maar dat was helaas niet mogelijk. We proberen de situatie met de badkamers te verhelpen door gasten van de derde verdieping ook gebruik te laten maken van de badkamers op de eerste verdieping. Dat lukt niet altijd, omdat de douches in het hoogseizoen vaker worden gebruikt. Het spijt me dat dit tot knelpunten heeft geleid. We wensen je/jullie het allerbeste. Hartelijke groeten uit Dresden. Lovely hostel! Really welcoming staff and homely feel. Great recommendations for sight seeing and tourist attractions and also great hiking information. Would definitely recommend!

Great hostel in the middle of Neustadt. Staff was really friendly. Kitchen had everything and the free meals on wednesday and sunday was not only delicious but really appreciated. Rooms were great with privacy curtains around the beds. Bathroom was clean and functional Absolutely recommend !

Liked: Самое прекрасное в этом хостеле - люди. Дружелюбный персонал и молодые гости из разных уголков мира - главная фишка атмосферы хостела. Чувствуется забота владельцев и персонала: каждый квадратный метр небольшого пространства заполнен чем-то, облегчающим жизнь. Много посуды, холодильник, микроволновка, плита, чайник, бесплатные кофе, чай, соль, сахар. На кухне почти всегда много людей, которые весело общаются и играют в настольные игры. На стенах кухни красуются копии картин именитых художников. В туалете всегда есть бумага, возле раковины - жидкое мыло. Уборка каждый день. Матрасы и подушки удобные. Одеяло жарковато для лета. В нашем женском номере был балкон с видом на мощёные улочки. Рядом есть общественный транспорт, до ближайшей жд станции пешком идти примерно 20 минут, до центра города - 35 минут, до вокзала к югу от реки Эльбы, где останавливаются автобусы Flixbus, примерно за 60 минут. Совет: лучше спросите у местных, как лучше добраться до той или иной точки, ибо сейчас один крупный мост через реку ремонтируется, а гугл карты этого не видят и прокладывают дорогу через него. Вай-фай работал стабильно Все депозиты (за замочек на шкаф и за ключ от комнаты) мне вернули без вопросов. Совет: если привозите свой замочек на шкаф, берите САМЫЙ маленький, крупный или средний не подойдёт. После выселения разрешили оставить у них багаж на несколько часов. Хостел идеально подойдёт для общительной молодежи, которая комфортно переносит жизнь в студенческом общежитии: под окнами много баров, бывает шумно, но после 12 ночи обычно всё тихо, только трамвай ездит. Людям с чутким сном рекомендую взять беруши, пригодятся. Это был мой первый опыт одиночного путешествия и проживания в хостеле в чужой стране. В итоге мне не хотелось уезжать! Рекомендую это место! Disliked: В комнате не было никаких вешалок для одежды. Приходилось одежду или складывать и прятать в маленький шкафчик, или развешивать на изголовье кровати. Полотенце не входит в обязательный комплект белья, за него нужно доплачивать. Холодильник почти всего заполнен. Удобнее было бы поставить по одному маленькому холодильнику в каждый блок комнат. Шторка возле кровати не закрывает вас полностью, какая-то часть всё равно будет видна. Я не поняла, как закрываться, если хочешь помыться в ванне. Походу там замок вообще был сломан. Закрыться можно было только в стоячем душе и в кабинке с унитазом. Я с ростом 165, ночуя на нижней кровати, постоянно билась головой о верх. Возле запасного входа нет надписей, что это запасной. В день заезда было легко перепутать и потеряться.

Liked: Nice and Cozy. Friendly casual staff. Disliked: Noise from the bars around and from people hanging out with drinks a loud music until late is a weakness for nice concept.

Super cooles Hostel. Richtig nettes Personal, von denen ich Tipps für die Stadt bekommen habe. Man bekommt beim Einchecken alles Wichtige erklärt und gezeigt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und der Gemeinschaftsraum gemütlich eingerichtet.

Liked: Die Bett war sehr bequem. Der Zimmer war groß. Alle hat ein Großer Schrank für ihr Gepäck. Es war viele Geschäfte in der Nähe. Es war ein karaoke bar wir haben besucht. Personal war sehr freundlich. Ich würde gerne hier zurückkommen.

Liked: Die Lage ist super um Dresden zu erkunden. Die Betten waren bequem, alles ist sauber. Unschlagbares Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis. Wer eine ruhige Unterkunft sucht sollte woanders hingehen. Ich fand es toll im Lolli's und würde jederzeit wiederkommen

Best hostel I’ve stayed in in the 6 months I’ve been travelling. Staff were amazing, they would organize events or going outs and always invite everybody. The vibes immaculate, super easy to meet people. It’s a really great mix, you ca go out if you feel like it or just explore the city or chill in the common room. Everything is super clean and the decor is super pretty and funky.
