Liked: Loved my stay here. The vibes and staff were great, loads of little events planned and the group chat is a nice edition for extra info. The facilities were all kept clean and tidy, nice places to sit and chill without feeling in the way. You can ask for a blanket for the local park to sit on at no cost :)

Liked: This is probably the coolest Hostel I've been to. The vibe, the atmosphere, the design, the location, the staff. This was my second time in Dresden, so I expected cool vibes, I love the city, but this Hostel was over the top really. I'm coming next summer for a week minimum. Disliked: not applicable :D

Liked: The staff are so friendly and have a very detailed introduction when I checked in! Disliked: Pbb the curtain didn’t really work on my bunk! Most of the curtain clips were broken so that my curtain was very easily fallen.

Emma was very welcoming and friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Shower hot. Great location.

Great hostel with lovely staff. The surrounding area is lively with lots of restaurants, bars and cafes. It’s also conveniently next to a big park which is nice for relaxing in when the sun is shining. It’s a social rather than party hostel. I had a great time and would definitely consider staying here again if I return to Dresden.

Liked: The receptionists were super friendly. I totally loved the hostel's vibe. Disliked: I had booked a girls' dorm, and I thought the bathroom would be exclusively for girls until I came to know it was not. it was a bit uncomfortable.

Especially in regards to the higher floors, the female-only aspect relates only the room. We do make this clear in our photos that there is no bathroom inside the room, but they do need to be shared there. There are also signs on the bathroom door that on the first floor, you will find female and male-only bathrooms, should the need arise to use them. Given the limitations with the building layout, we cannot change it on the upper floors. But I will certainly communicate with the manager about how to make this clearer! Thank you for the feedback. Disliked: Half of the bed curtains were not there. So had to adjust with the bed linen to get privacy

Our all-you-can-eat buffet is only vegan or vegetarian and generally quite affordable at €9.50 and includes a wide variety of options, from sweet to savory to fruity. Decent but not great. Good people but wasn’t fantastic

Ich musste beruflich sehr oft in Dresden schlafen und meistens in dem Hostel. Es ist quasi zu meinem zweiten Zuhause geworden. Die Zimmer (ich war in einigen), Organisation , Bäder, Küche - alles super! Ich hatte kein einziges Problem, alles wurde sehr schnell geregelt. Die Lage ist perfekt und ziemlich ruhig. Jetzt komme ich aber zum wichtigsten. In diesem Hostel herrscht eine unglaubliche Atmosphäre. Die Menschen, die dort arbeiten (fühlt euch alle ganz fest gedrückt) , sind sehr einfühlsam, witzig und gastfreundlich. Ich habe es geliebt , an der Rezeption oder in der Lounge mit Leuten zu quatschen. Das hat mir eine sehr harte Zeit verschönert. Ich kann der Crew von dem Hostel nur das einzige sagen - danke euch Leute für alles, was ihr für mich gemacht habt!

Liebe Gästin, wir sind total berührt von deiner schönen und herzlichen Rückmeldung zu deinen Aufenthalten bei uns. Wir vermissen dich als bereichernde, großartige Gästin. Haben hier zwei super Nächte zentral in Dresden Neustadt verbracht. Super liebes Personal. Jeder ist willkommen. Es gibt zwar ganz oben nur ein Bad aber das war nicht weiter schlimm. Liked: Fantastische lokatie in Dresden Neustad. Ik had een kamer voor mijzelf alleen (gedateerd, maar schoon) met gedeelde badkamer (schoon), geen lawaai. Omgeving rond hostel is echt top, met hippe winkeltjes, restaurantjes e.d.

Liked: Familiäres Backpackers Hotel in toller Lage Freundliches Personal! Disliked: Zimmer zur Alleinnutzung war trotzdem nicht abschliessbar, Handtücher nicht in der Grundausstattung bei Buchung als Hotelzimmer

Liebe Gästin, hab vielen Dank für deine schöne und wohlwollende Bewertung deines Aufenthaltes bei uns. Wir freuen uns sehr daß du unsere Lage so gut fandest und unserem Personal ein extra Lob aussprichst. Ich gebe das Lob gern an das Team weiter :) Dieses eine spezielle Zimmer, welches du bekommen hattest, ist tatsächlich nicht abschließbar. Der Brandschutz verhindert es, weil es im Fall eines Feuers das Notausgangszimmer ist. Das Zimmer teilt sich den Flur nur mit 2 weiteren Privatzimmern und ist mit extra sicheren Schließfächern ausgerüstet. Wir hatten noch nie ein Problem im Sinne Diebstahl oder ähnliches darin. Das gilt wie gesagt nur für dieses eine Zimmer, alle anderen sind direkt abschließbar. Bettwäsche ist bei uns im Preis inklusive, und Handtücher, wie in den meisten Hostels üblich, kosten eine kleine Ausleihgebühr von 2,00€ für ein kleines Handtuch und 3,00€ für ein Großes. Liked: Great location, very informative check in regarding the area, free coffee. Disliked: The price doubled which pushed me put of Germany. If perhaps a deal was offered I would have stayed a few nights. First place to ask for a key deposit in 2 months travel, everyone else has kinda invested in smart locks.

Free tea and coffee is a little extra service, that we like to provide, as it is simply great to start the day without having to worry about where to get the first coffee or tea. Oh, I do not remember that you asked to extend your stay for one more night? We could have talked about a little discount. Generally Dresden was fully booked that days due to a conference, which increased the prices. A smart lock would be a great improvement, but it does not really make sense to us, as our rental contract comes to an end in 2 years and we are not sure if we can extend it. Liked: Freundliches Personal Disliked: Die Räume sind ziemlich heruntergekommen. Es gibt eine Kneipe direkt darunter, aus der ständig Zigarettenrauch und teilweise Lärm kommt. Das wäre vielleicht noch auszuhalten, aber die schlimmsten waren bei meinem Aufenthalt leider die Zimmergenoss:innen. Eine saß die halbe Nacht in der Balkontür und rauchte harte Drogen (definitiv kein Cannabis). Es war deswegen unheimlich kalt im Zimmer, sodass ich in meiner Tageskleidung schlafen musste und es hat auch übel gestunken. Für mich ein absolutes No-Go – wenn ich mit Junkies in der Kälte schlafen wollen würde, würde ich die Nacht am Bahnhof verbringen … Ich werde diese Unterkunft auf keinen Fall mehr besuchen. Wenn ihr nur ruhig schlafen wollt, bleibt fern!

Liebe Gästin, hab vielen Dank für deine ehrliche Rückmeldung zu deinem Aufenthalt bei uns. Wir hätten uns sehr gewünscht daß auch du eine schöne Zeit hier Hostel verbringen konntest, wie die meisten unserer Gästi:Innen. Leider wurde dein Erlebnis durch die 2 anderen Gästinnen in deinem 6-Bettzimmer für Frauen empfindlich gestört. Das tut uns total leid, so soll es nicht sein. Es wäre allerdings mehr als hilfreich gewesen wenn du die Rezeption über den illegalen Drogenkonsum informiert hättest. Ihr wart da nur zu dritt, 3 Betten waren nicht belegt, es wäre für uns ein leichtes gewesen herauszufinden wer das war. Wir haben eine 0 Toleranz Politik gegenüber Drogenkonsum in unserem Haus und verweisen die Gäst:Innen die sich nicht an die Regeln halten generell des Hauses. Das kommt fast nie vor, die Mehrzahl unserer Gäst:Innen sind internationale Rucksackreisende, so daß wir unbedingt auf direktes Feedback angewiesen sind wenn es solche schweren Probleme gibt. Schade daß dieser Eindruck nun auf uns zurückfällt, wir geben uns wirklich sehr große Mühe daß sich die Gäste unseres Hauses wohlfühlen. Wonderful backpackers hostel in a wonderful city. Amazing spot to meet nice travellers, arty, local, clean, creative. They offer social events almost daily for free and help you to have a wonderful time in Dresden. Free infos and tours for a perfect stay. Cosy and alternative vibes. They do their job with love.
