Dresden lost world heritage title
Five years ago Dresden got the title as world heritage from the Unesco for its unique Elbe meadow. The Elbe is the only river in Germany, which was not changed by human in it´s stream course. Furthermore are there no buildings on the surrounding grasland, so that the river has enough place to overflow from time to time, as this is a natural phenominom.
The world heritage is lost now, because of the modern Waldschlösschen Bridge, which is under construction at this point of time (it is the most expensive bridge in whole Germany). It will surely change the beautiful picture of the Elbe meadow and it`s destroying the invaluable cultural landscape. It is very sad, that Dresden politicians were not able to find a acceptable solution.
