Dresden TV-Tower
Another very interesting sight in Dresden is the TV-Tower, the largest building in Dresden. Today its not in use, but about 20 years ago it was possible to go up to the restaurant and you had the very best view all over Dresden and its surroundings.
It is 252 m high, the foot has a diameter of 21 meters. If it would be possible to walk up the stairs, you would have to climb 750 steps up.
Unfortunately the restaurant is closed, because it would cost something between 3-6 billion Euro to renovate it and the lifts. But still, even from the bottom you have a nice view over Dresden. Its very easy to get there, just catch bus Nr. 61 which brings you right there.
